Oh Lord Our God, look down with mercy on the world. Protect your people from the aggressors who seek to destroy peace and harmony. Grant your people steadfast love, and unity. Give them the strength and will to accept what’s good, and right before you. Grant us the safety from the enemy and provide for all their needs.
Listen to the plea of your servant and your people when they pray for peace. May you hear from heaven, your dwelling place.
You say in 1 John 1:9, When your people confess their sins, you are faithful and just and will forgive them of their sins and purify them from all unrighteousness. Wash us clean of our iniquities and cleanse us from our sins.
Even in the face of disappointment, and hopelessness, we trust in your holy word. May we see the power of your faithfulness in our lives, and the lives of all people in the world.
You say, when your people, who are called by your name, will humble themselves and pray and seek Your face and turn from their weekend ways, then you will hear from heaven, and you will forgive their sins and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Hear our prayers now and heal the Nationals. Grant this in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Amen.
