Walking by Faith

[vc_row][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text]To walk by faith is to live by Faith

2 Corinthians 5:7

“For we walk by faith, not by sight”

The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego in the fiery furnace is certainly one of the most frightening. When the three men were brought before Nebuchadnezzar for refusing to bow down to the king’s image, they remained unbowed even when it was obvious they stared at death.

“O Nebuchadnezzar, we do not need to answer you in this matter. If this is so, our God whom we serve can deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king. But if not, be it known to you, O king, that we will not serve your gods or worship the golden image that you have set up.” (Daniel 3:16-18)

And even after the king ordered the furnace to be heated seven times hotter than average, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego had strong faith in God that he was able to rescue them. The word of God says, as the King peered into the furnace, he marveled at what he saw. Four men, unbound, were walking in the fire, and none of them was hurt.

Where our sights see the end of everything, our vision affirmed by our unwavering faith will show us a new beginning. Our God can do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask for or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20).

In the Scriptures, Jesus said to 3 different people in need of miracles “…Your faith has made you whole/well”.  May God reward your faith with miracles and breakthroughs in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
